Crest Nicholson South West are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Manager to join the team, managing several pre-operational and live sites, you will manage your time between current projects and those with further progression for sites in 2023 and onwards.
With a per-development unit range of 80-250 across the sites, this role requires an experienced individual with a history of managing multiple residential new build projects simultaneously.
A key part of your role will be proposing cost effective solutions to the Planning, Commercial, Sales and Build teams to deliver commercially viable options, particularly with section 38, 104 and 278 agreements.
Identifying and resolving any potential technical constraints on land development, commission on ground investigation and remediation reports will be crucial in this role. Excellent relationships with statutory authorities and management of Consultants will ensure all design briefs, development plans and budgets are kept to and delivered to a high standard.
What are we looking for?
You must have experience in managing the end to end lifecycle in planning, budgeting and delivering residential new homes in a Technical role. We will consider candidates from either an Architectural background with exposure to Housebuilding or on the engineering side, i.e. roads, sewers, drainage, utilities. You will have sound knowledge of appraisals, producing and understanding geotechnical and environmental reports and remedial techniques.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills, with a clear passion, drive and enthusiasm for working collaboratively to deliver exceptional new homes to be proud of.
HNC/HND qualified or with a Degree in a relevant field is preferred. We welcome applications from ICE or CIOB members either with chartered status or currently working towards this.
This role does involve travel to sites across the outlined regions with your main office base at our regional South West office.
